WAR OF ODINIUM
WoO is currently the replacement for the original SVS. There is not telling if the original event will return so in the mean time we need to prepare for this craziness.
For those who have participated in a WoO already, you know there is a lot happening. For those who have not, run, run very far. LOL, it's not that bad. The overall objective is to be the team with the most POINTS, nothing matters except POINTS.
How do I get points?
Points can be obtained through conquering facilities, gathering gems, killing rivals, and looting airdrops.
As you can see in the SS below the vast majority of points are gained from Take-Over or conquering the buildings. Each building becomes available after a certain amount of time after the battle "starts" and provides a different amount of points:

Frontline Base
This is the most rewarding building in the map
-Initial rewards: 300 points for the alliance, 100 for the individual
-Duration rewards: 100 ppm (points per minute) for the alliance, 40 ppm for the individual
Empire Military Center
Provides a CONQUEROR BUFF of +20% March Speed Unknown if this pertains to the alliance as a whole or 1 person
-Initial rewards: 150 points for the alliance, 50 points for the individual
-Duration rewards: 50 ppm for the alliance, 20 ppm for the individual
Empire Tech Center
Provides a CONQUEROR BUFF of +20% DMG Increase for ALL Units Unknown if this pertains to the alliance as a whole or 1 person
-Initial rewards: 150 points for the alliance, 50 points for the individual
-Duration rewards: 50 ppm for the alliance, 20 ppm for the individual
Transfer Station
Provides 1 teleport opportunity every 180 seconds after conquering, first available building along with fortress
-Initial rewards: 150 points for the alliance, 50 points for the individual
-Duration rewards: 50 ppm for the alliance, 20 ppm for the individual
Fortress
This building is the one of the first to become available to conquer 3 near our spawn position, 3 near enemy spawn position
-Initial rewards: 120 points for the alliance, 30 points for the individual
-Duration rewards: 50 ppm for the alliance, 20 ppm for the individual

Bomb Truck
Points are only obtained for destroying this, not per hit. The person who K.O.s the bomb truck will receive 1000 Points for their alliance and 400 individual points. A new Bomb Truck will spawn every 10 minutes. When the Bomb truck is destroyed, it will automatically move to an enemy occupied facility and explode, causing catastrophic damage to their troops in that facility.
Gathering Gems
Gathering gems will provide individual points but no alliance points, and not very many at that. This is truly the least effective way to gain points but it's still something. Gems are the sole currency in WoO so if you are low on inventory supplies for the event you may considering farming these to perform repair speed ups.
"For a troop with 100.0K load, every 1min gains 1 Gems. Each Gem gained will also gain you Individual Points"
It is unknown at this time exactly how many individual points are earned per gem but I'm assuming it's 1 point per gem.
Killing Enemies
1 Point per kill. These are individual points only and can be obtained through both attacking and defending It does not appear that you can gain killing points from the bomb truck explosion.

Map Layout
- There are 2 spawn locations. Blue team spawns on the North side, Red team spawns on the South side. BASES IN THIS AREA ARE UNABLE TO BE ATTACKED
- Just beyond the spawn zones (moving towards center of the map) will be the 3 Fortresses on each side. These are the first buildings to become available along with Transfer Stations.
- The next 'row' of buildings will be the 2 Transfer Stations also on each side. Once these have been conquered you can teleport to the area outlining the facility, looking much like an alliance hive. These facilities will be the only areas within the battlefield zone you can teleport near. If your alliance plans to make a push to the enemy side to force them back it would be recommended to conquer the Transfer Stations close to the enemy spawn zone. These facilities will be helpful for keeping march times shorter for your troops. ONCE YOU TELEPORT AWAY FROM THE SPAWN ZONE YOU WILL BE OPEN TO ATTACK FROM THE ENEMY
-Next 'row' will be 1 Empire Military Center (EMC), 1 Empire Tech Center (ETC), and 2 Front Line Bases (FLB) per side. These are the most benefitting facilities on the map between the BUFFs and points. It is unknown if the BUFFs from the EMCs and ETCs would be cumulative if you took over both of each.
- In the center of the map you can find the air drop station where Bomb Trucks will spawn.
Registration and Teams
The alliance leader has to register the alliance for the event, no other member has access to do so. When registering, the R5 may decide to edit the auto-chosen members. In this event there are 2 teams.
Team 1
- 30 total assignments
-These should be, as much as possible, the strongest players on the team. Think of this as the varsity team. It should also be taken into consideration if each person will be available at the time of the event and if they even wish to participate. *example*: if you had a top ranked player who was uncertain about being available to participate at the time of the event, you may considering subbing in another committed player who may be a few levels lower
Team 2
- 10 total assignments
- These players are just as important as team 1. Team 2 players are considered backups for team 1. These players should also be, as much as possible, the strongest players on the team. Team 2 players may be comprised of players who are uncertain of their availability, just slightly lower CP, or even lower level CP players who would not make Team 1 but could be given a chance once the event starts. Once players have entered the battlefield, a Team 2 player may join if there is availability (less than 30 Team 1 members entered battlefield)
Once the sign up timer has ended (*can be viewed on the event page*) the participants list will be locked in and no NEW members may be selected at this time. It is important to let your R5 know if you are unavailable or do not wish to participate so that another player may be selected before sign-up ends.
Once you are locked in as a participate for that alliance, you may NOT also participate with another alliance in the same event window. You may only be signed up with 1 alliance per battle phase.
Extras
- During the event you will still be able to see the main WC for your server as well as a WoO World Chat where you may communicate with the enemy and a WoO Team Chat that only alliance members in the battlefield can use.
- It is important to note that many inventory items cannot be used in WoO and so they 'disappear' and you will only see the items available for use (repair speed ups, paint, gems, etc.)
- You may not enter the battlefield for the event if you have troops repairing or training. Since the event normally happens on a KE day it would be wise to shield until the event is over.
- Shields 'expire' when you enter the battlefield. However, as long as the timer did not run out, the shield will be present after the event finishes and you return to the regular server map.
- When respawning back in the server you are randomly placed back on the map, make sure you have a teleport available to get back to the alliance base.
- During the battle you will not be able to access the heros page so you cannot modify any skill setups. It is important to have appropriate skills assigned to the heros you intend to use during the event (generally those in your formation and garrison).
- March Speed up items cannot be used in this event so I recommend using a few March Speed Skills
- You can teleport with units placed in facilities, but not while they are marching
- There is no limit to the Repair Factory and Wade's Instant Repair does not work inside the event. Also note that once the event is over and you return to the server map, no real damage was done and troops will be back to normal in your base.
- You will not be able to buy packs while in the battlefield so it is important to stock up before clicking 'Enter Battlefield'
Rewards
There are 3 types of rewards:
Winning Alliance Rewards - All Members
Winning Alliance Rewards - Participants
Winning Alliance Individual Rewards - Points Ranking
As you can see, you will only get rewards for winning.
